Managing Tasks and Projects in ARTOVA

ARTOVA helps you organise everything you need to do in one place - from small daily actions to larger projects and launches.

Instead of keeping ideas scattered across notes, lists, and reminders, you can manage everything inside one connected system.

Understanding Tasks and Projects

Inside ARTOVA:

Tasks are individual actions you need to complete.

Examples:

  • Order supplies

  • Email a customer

Boards (or projects) are groups of related tasks.

Examples:

  • Launch a new product

  • Update your website

  • Prepare for a market

Organising tasks into boards helps you stay focused while still seeing the bigger picture.

Where to Find the Task Manager

You can access your tasks from:

  • The dashboard cards

  • The sidebar navigation (available from anywhere in the app)

  • The mobile navigation bar on phones and tablets

(mobile view optimised when screen is turned horizontal).

This makes it easy to check or update tasks whenever you need.

Choosing Your View: List or Grid

ARTOVA includes different layout options to support the way you naturally prefer to work.

You can switch between:
List View
A structured, step-by-step layout - ideal if you like clear order and planning.

Grid View
A more visual layout - helpful if you prefer seeing tasks as cards or blocks.

Both views contain the same information. They’re simply different ways of viewing and interacting with your tasks.
You can toggle between list and grid at any time, so you’re free to use whichever feels most comfortable.

There’s no right or wrong way - choose what works best for you.

Creating a Task

To create a task:

  1. Open the task or project area you want to work in (or click 'New Board' to create a new one)

  2. Click Add New Task

  3. Enter the task name, along with any subtasks that need to happen to fulfil that task

  4. Add any optional details (notes, deadlines, priority and progress, tags)

  5. Add new tabs to organise your board into relevant categories. You can click and drag tasks into a different order, duplicate and delete.

  6. You task will save automatically as you go

  7. You can switch between list view or grid view by click the toggle above the task board

Tip: You can explore the example board inside the Task Manager to see how best to structure your boards

Searching and Filtering Tasks

As your projects grow, ARTOVA makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.
You can search and filter tasks using:

Tags
Search by the tags you’ve created to quickly locate related tasks.

Status
Filter tasks by progress, such as:

  • To Do

  • In Progress

  • Complete

This helps you focus on what needs attention right now.

Priority
You can also filter by priority level:

  • High

  • Medium

  • Low

This makes it easier to identify urgent tasks and plan your time effectively.

Using search and filters helps you stay organised without needing to scroll through everything manually.

Tip: Combining filters (like status and priority) can help you quickly see your most important tasks.

Explore the Example Board

Inside ARTOVA, you’ll find an example task board that shows how projects and tasks can be organised.

This is there to help you:

  • See how everything fits together

  • Understand how to structure your workflow

  • Get ideas for your own setup

Many users find it helpful to explore the example first before creating their own projects.
